Viral fame is fleeting. Huge highs, enormous lows. No one knows this more than Moo Deng, the viral pygmy hippo who was flavour of the month for a few weeks but has now unfortunately been relegated to enemy of the state. Dare I say, a right wing grifter. Because despite the fame and fortune and adoring fans, the dim hippo Moo Deng just predicted Donald Trump is going to emerge victorious from today’s presidential US election. Cancelled.
The cancellation occurred after Moo Deng cast her vote at Khao Kheow Open Zoo in Chonburi, Thailand – the zoo where this year she found her fame and fortune. Moo Deng found herself cancelled after having the choice of two cakes, one representing Kamala Harris and the Dems and the other the Republicans and Donald Trump. The abysmal self serving hippo chose the cake of the convicted felon who is for some reason allowed to run for president. Outrageous.
Of course, it wasn’t actual cake – Moo Deng was presented with two watermelons. Nutritious.

I just think it’s a bit cheeky for the viral hippo to endorse the controversial candidate when it’s so bloody close, but that’s just me. Moo Deng predicts Donald Trump. Well, I predict she’s over – utterly cancelled. You had a good run, diva. I think it’s time we pivot to Haggis in Edinburgh.
