A MUM who refused to leave the house because her hair loss was so bad now has the “thick and shiny” locks from her teens again after creating a three-ingredient wonder pill.
Kirin Shabir, 36, noticed her hairline starting to thin around two years ago.

The mum of two, from Scotland, said it was a “horrific” and emotionally challenging experience.
“The pain it causes really goes beyond the physical impact, it knocks your confidence”, she said.
“It caused me tremendous pain. I was so insecure. I did not want to leave the house. I didn’t go to any events.
“It just completely took over my life because I feel hair is a part of who you are. It’s a part of your identity and when you don’t have that, it’s painful.”
She added: “I was losing so much hair that I eventually had to start wearing a half-head wig just to feel somewhat presentable.
“It completely shattered my confidence.”
Kirin said she “tried everything” to get her hair to grow back – from supplements and gummies to hair oils and a £2,500 treatment she later realised “would have no effect”.
She also went to her local GP but was unable to find a solution.
Eventually, the frustrated mum – who takes a holistic approach with her health – decided to take matters into her own hands and create a solution.
She said: “I started researching and researching and researching day and night because it was the only thing I could think about from the minute I woke up to the minute I went to bed.”
And her end product? A simple pill, since branded as Wonderpill, containing three ingredients with no “nasty” binding agents or fillers.
Saw palmetto works to reduce DHT levels that cause hair follicles to get smaller and hair loss.
Meanwhile, rosemary enhances scalp circulation and reduces inflammation to promote hair growth, and pumpkin seed is rich in fatty acids and nutrients to nourish hair follicles.
Revealing her short journey with the pill, Kirin, founder of Serenoa Health, said: “So when Wonderpill was born initially, obviously I started taking it myself and within a few weeks, my mind was just blown by the results that I had.
“I didn’t understand that a product that’s so natural, yet so potent, how this wasn’t readily available for women, for me, I just couldn’t understand how this wasn’t a thing.
“The first two to four weeks I did notice that my hair fall had decreased rapidly, I’d say up to about 50%.
“Going into six to eight weeks, I had literally no hair fall. There was no hair falling out in the shower when I was brushing it.
“Nine to twelve weeks is when I started noticing like baby hairs, small, small, small hairs coming through.
“Fast forward to a year, I feel like my hair is back to when I was 16, 17, 18.
“It’s thick, it’s shining and more importantly I’m not stressed to go take a shower or brush my hair. It just feels amazing.”
Kirin then let her two sisters try her product, with them both seeing “tremendous results” within two weeks.
“[Then] I was like right okay, this needs to be out there, this really needs to be out there”, she said.
“There has got to be millions of women who don’t want to leave the house and feel so insecure.
“I want to make women feel good about themselves. So Wonderpill, I would say, is not just a supplement, it’s an actual lifestyle upgrade.”
Wonderpill promises to reduce hair loss, balance hormones for PCOS sufferers, and provide relief for IBS symptoms.
Everything you need to know about hair loss
Marie Nieuwoudt, a Group Education Manager at CLOUD NINE told Fabulous everything you need to know regarding hair loss.
What are the common causes of hair loss?
Marie explained: “There are so many reasons why someone may face hair loss.
“The number one reason is usually hormonal changes or underlying health conditions (like thyroid conditions), and stress of
course also plays a big part in changes to your hair health.
“But another very common day-to-day cause is excessive damage to your hair created by mistakes in your styling routines – and this a
big one to be aware of for people who are regularly applying heat to their hair!
“It’s important to know the right temperature for your hair type when using styling tools, as this is essential in reducing unintentional heat damage.
“I also see a lot of people facing hair loss resulting from hereditary conditions, which are passed down from generation to generation.”
What are the best hairstyles people should try to reduce their hair loss?
According to Marie: “Less is more when it comes to hair loss! It’s important to be gentle with your hair, so a low-maintenance style that limits pulling on your scalp will be your best option.
“Putting your hair up in a tight ponytail or adding hair clips can cause stress points at the roots.
“Instead, try leaving your hair down, or out.
“You’re not limited in your options, but it pays to be intentional with your hair styling. Using tools which limit damage to your hair is vital.
“Discussing your concerns with a hairdresser or hair loss specialist is also a great way to find styles that suit your specific needs, whilst still making sure you look and feel your best.”
How long does it take for hair loss to stop?
If you’re itching to know when your hair will grow back, Marie confirmed: “Hair loss is a personal journey – and it’s different for everyone, so it’s very difficult to put exact timings on this process.
“Every head of hair is unique, and so too is your hair loss experience.
“As always, you can speak to a professional hairdresser or trichologist about your specific concerns and hair changes, and they’ll be able to help you manage those expectations.
“I can’t emphasise enough how important it is to be kind to your hair. Most people treat their hair quite roughly, and this is something you definitely want to avoid when dealing with hair loss in particular.
“Make sure you’re choosing products and styling routines that you know are good for your hair, rather than causing additional damage.”
And Kirin is so confident in her product, that customers are guaranteed their money back if they don’t see a difference in 12 weeks.
She promises that beauty fans will see a noticeable stoppage of hair fall in and around the full scalp within four to eight weeks, complete stoppage by week 16 and beyond week 17, hairs which previously would have fallen out will grow instead, making your scalp fuller.
The mum has since been inundated with glowing reviews from stunned beauty fans who’ve given it a go.
One said: “Tomorrow marks two weeks of me being on the hair pills and today was my first day I had a shower and zero hair fall.
“Honestly, I am so grateful I found yourself, and honestly shocked as I’ve tried so many different ranges of products and brands.
“100% you have hit it on the nail with these. I’m looking forward to the coming weeks.”
A second gushed: “I’ve been taking it for a bit now and I’m already seeing a difference in the strength and shine of my hair.”
After just a month of using Wonderpill, a third chimed in: “I’m definitely noticing more baby hair.
“My hair loss hasn’t stopped completely, but it’s still given me a good head start in recovering my hair!”
Meanwhile, a fourth wrote: “My hair is so much better. Even my eyebrows are growing like crazy.
“Even when tying my hair up everyone has noticed a difference and said it’s looking so much better which is crazy because it’s not even been that long. Honestly, I’m so happy.”
Overwhelmed by the positive feedback, Kirin told us: “It’s the best feeling! Every time someone shares their progress or says they feel more confident, it makes everything worth it.
“Knowing that Wonderpill is helping others regain their hair and more importantly, their confidence is incredibly satisfying.”
Wonderpill is available at SerenoaHealth.com, RRP £49.99 for 60 capsules.
