OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – Oklahomans are still exploring the damage Monday after the state was hit with multiple severe storms over the weekend.
According to the Oklahoma City Fire Department, multiple homes near SE 89th St. and Sooner Rd. were destroyed and six people were taken to the hospital.

Debris is still all over the ground in some areas, showing the aftermath of the violent storms.
“It’s like wow, uh, yeah that was fast.” one resident said after the storms damaged her home.
“I didn’t know what to think, what was going on.” said another.
The City of Harrah was hit by an EF-3 tornado on Sunday, leaving behind destruction. It destroyed homes and intertwined power lines at NE 23rd St. and Luther Rd. like a spiderweb.
“We were all in bed. And when I heard the noise, when the thing hit, I thought it was just a direct hit by lightning. It was a loud pop, but it was the roof coming off the house,” said Joe Payne.
The Harrah Fire Department and Red Cross have announced they’re accepting donations at Harrah Church for those affected by the storm damage. The address is 101 S Dobbs Rd.
More storms moved into the state Monday morning prompting multiple tornado warnings. According to KFOR Meteorologist Emily Sutton, severe weather may pick back up around noon or 1 p.m. Monday afternoon.
