Orlando Pirates have lined up a couple of targets for the up-and-coming PSL transfer window.
Pirates are focused on building depth with the Bucs set to compete in the CAF Champions League.
Moreover, they currently face a bit of an injury crisis with several players out injured. Thus, sparking the need to build depth in this key position. Furthermore, Pirates have set their sites on a Sundowns product.
PIRATES TARGET BAFANA BAFANA STAR
The Bucs have identified Sinoxolo Kwayiba as one of their latest targets.
“Pirates are the ones who have moved faster in trying to acquire the services of Sinoxolo (Kwayiba). The technical team has been impressed so far in what they have seen from the player and that’s why they want to involve a player exchange to influence the deal. It could be money plus players involved. But what I can tell you is that Pirates are in the forefront to get him,” the insider told SoccerLaduma.
So, they are even willing to offer these two Bucs players to sign him.
Meaning, Bucs management want Kwayiba at Mayfair. Interestingly, Hugo Broos recently called him up to the national team.
SUNDOWNS PRODUCT ON BUCS RADAR
Stellenbosch defender, Thabo Moloisane is Pirates main target.
Moreover, he is a Sundowns product having graduated from their academy. Now, he is one of the most promising and valuable players in the BetWay Premiership.
“The club is working hard to find at least a central defender to be backup or cover in case of injuries and suspensions. The team feels that with injuries in central defense, they need a player like Thabo Moloisane and now that’s why they have reignited their interest in him again. Obviously, for now, that could only happen in January. But, yet, the interest has always been there and now it’s just a revisit of that interest,” the Siya source told SNL.
