THE MUSO VENTURES INTO FASHION WITH ‘HAVE A GROOVY DAY’
Oscar Mbo made headlines earlier this year after launching his fashion brand, ‘Have A Groovy Day.’ He is one of the latest South African DJs to venture into fashion.
The Kriel-born DJ has been seamlessly balancing his fashion and music career, using his music and influence to market his clothing line.
According to TimesLive, Oscar Mbo revealed that he did not want to venture into fashion blindly, so he had to trust the process.
“I have always had a passion for clothes, but I wanted to equip myself before I entered the fashion industry.
“Hence, my entry is with my own line of merch as I grow more into design. I’m giving myself time to grow over the years and am hoping to have a full line in the near future,” Oscar Mbo said.
Oscar Mbo describes his clothing line as streetwear inspired by the Asian fashion aesthetic introduced in 2021. However, the DJ also revealed the prices of some of his merchandise.
