Former SABC Sepedi newsreader Willie Matlawa has passed away at the age of 67.

The SABC announced on Tuesday, 30 September that the legendary Sepedi newsreader Willie Matlawa has passed away.
“The SABC is deeply saddened by the passing of William “Bra Willie” Matlawa. His immense contribution to the entertainment industry will forever be remembered. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the Matlawa family, friends and fans,” says the broadcaster.
The seasoned newsreader was a broadcaster for 40 years before retiring in 2023.
Fans of Matlawa took to social media to pay tribute to the seasoned newsreader.
