Requirements
To qualify for the role, applicants should have:
- National Diploma in Supply Chain Management
- 1-3 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the public sector
- Certifications like CSCP, CPM, CPSM, CPIM, or CIPS are beneficial
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic data analysis skills for report generation and decision support
- Good communication skills for effective interaction with suppliers, team members, and stakeholders
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in procurement and reporting
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team, with an understanding of public sector policies and ethical standards
Responsibilities
As a Practitioner in Supply Chain Management, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with supply chain process implementation
- Maintaining records and conducting data analysis to support decision-making
- Engaging with suppliers to obtain quotes, manage purchase orders, and oversee timely delivery
- Ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining documentation in line with public sector standards
- Preparing reports and providing administrative support for supply chain activities, including document preparation and scheduling meetings

Salary
The position offers a competitive salary range between R354,947.02 – R579,755.23.
