Scattered evening showers, seasonably cool weekend

Central Ohio Weather and Radar

A wave of low pressure will trigger scattered this evening, mainly south of I-70. Winds from the southwest behind a warm front pushed temperatures to 70 degrees.

A final round of showers will move southeast along a trailing cold front around sunset, but should be light and not a significant concern for Football Friday Nite. Readings will fall back into the mid-60s this evening.

In the wake of the front on Saturday, temperatures will cool down into the low 60s, which means perfect fall weather for the OSU-Nebraska game, with a noon kickoff temperatures in the upper 50s.

High pressure will build southward across the region, providing fair skies and chilly mornings through early next week.

Another substantial warmup will commence on Tuesday and continue through Halloween, when we could see our next chance for showers Thursday afternoon and evening.
