If you’re picking up a PS5 Pro, here’s all 55 confirmed games which will be enhanced by the console’s extra power.
Sony has been very busy shipping new hardware lately, including its 30th anniversary PS1-inspired consoles – which sold out immediately, with scalpers posting them on eBay for a staggering £8,000.
There’s also the mid-generation upgrade in the PS5 Pro, which is released on Thursday, November 7 and comes with quite a few performance upgrades compared to the original PlayStation 5 from 2020.
In total, there are 55 video games so far that will benefit from the upcoming console, including the latest Spider-Man titles and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.
All enhanced games for the PS5 Pro so far
The PS5 Pro comes with more advanced ray-tracing and AI-driven upscaling, that will make existing games look and run smoother.
There’s also the Pro Game Boost, which should improve performance for 8,500 backward compatible PlayStation 4 games on the PS5 Pro.
Ahead of the console’s launch, Sony has named 55 games enhanced by the PS5 Pro. This list, shown below, is only described on the PlayStation blog as a ‘sample’ of the games which will receive a performance boost at launch, so more might be discovered once the console is out.
The new additions mainly comprise third party offerings and relatively new titles, ranging from Baldur’s Gate 3, Fortnite, and Star Wars Outlaws to Dragon Age: The Veilguard.

When is the PS5 Pro out and where to buy it?
The PS5 Pro comes out Thursday, November 7 but unlike the original PlayStation 5 the new console is digital-only, which means you have to buy a separate disc drive to play physical games on it.
It costs £699.99 in the UK, which very much caught fans by surprise during the unveiling back in September. Additionally, if you want a stand to prop up the console vertically, that costs an extra £24.99, while original PlayStation 5 faceplates are not compatible with the system.
If the price tag doesn’t scare you, the PS5 Pro will be available at the usual retailers, like the PlayStation Store, Argos, Very, Amazon, GAME, John Lewis, Currys, and the EE Store.
