GAHANNA , Ohio (WCMH) – A wanted suspect was shot Wednesday morning by deputies who were serving an arrest warrant.
According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, one person has been hospitalized after being shot by deputies. A SWAT unit was serving a warrant at 825 Tech Center Drive, which is being renovated into the Gahanna Municipal Complex.

The suspect is listed in critical condition, through the injury appears to be non-life threatening, the sheriff’s office said. A gun was recovered at the scene.
No deputies were were injured during the incident, and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation has been called to assist in the investigation.
It is unknown what led to the shooting or what the arrest warrant alleged.
