‘We cherish the bond’: DDG and Halle Bailey split

Rapper and YouTuber Darryl Dwayne “DDG” Grandberry Jr. and Halle Bailey are topping the trends after DDG took to his Instagram stories to announce that they have called it quits.

IT’S THE END OF THE ROAD FOR DDG AND HALLE BAILEY

The former lovebirds made their relationship official in 2022 and in December 2023, they celebrated the arrival of their baby boy, Halo.

On Thursday night, 03 October, the rapper decided to make an official statement about the breakup.

Announcing the news, DDG said this was a tough decision to make, but they made it after “much reflection and heartfelt conversations.”

“After much reflection and heartfelt conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways. This decision was not easy, but we believe it’s the best path forward for us both. I cherish the time we’ve spent together and the love we’ve shared,” he wrote.

DDG ‘WE CHERISH THE BOND WE’VE BUILT’

DDG stated that although they have ended their romantic relationship, they still care for each other and will remain close friends while prioritizing their co-parenting duties.

“Despite the changes in our relationship, our love for each other remains deep and true. We are still best friends and adore each other. As we focus on our individual journeys and our roles as co-parents, we cherish the bond we’ve built and the beautiful moments we’ve shared,” he continued.

Halle Bailey has not reacted to DDG’s statement.

DDG AND HALLE UNFOLLOW EACH OTHER ON INSTAGRAM

Speculation about their relationship issues began in April when fans noticed that the couple had unfollowed each other on Instagram and DDG had deleted pictures of Halle from his timeline.

Amidst the drama, the rapper took to his X account to respond to the rumors, writing, “the internet is so gullible.”

He went on to mention that there was no cheating involved and urged his followers not to take his tweets too seriously.
