IMPACT-BASED WARNINGS

A. Yellow level 4 warning for severe thunderstorms resulting in damage or loss of infrastructure, settlements and major travel disruptions and disruptions of municipal and another essential service over the southern and central parts of KwaZulu Natal.

B. Yellow level 1 warning for severe thunderstorms resulting in strong damaging winds and localised damage to property is expected over extreme eastern parts of the Eastern Cape.

C. Yellow level 2 warning for disruptive snow leading to localised traffic disruptions and localised loss of livestock is expected over the northern and central high lying areas of the Eastern Cape on Monday evening into Tuesday.

IMPACT BASED WARNINGS for Monday into Tuesday (04- 05 October 2024)

A. Yellow level 4 warning for disruptive rain leading to flooding of settlements, roads, damage to property is expected over the eastern parts of the Eastern Cape on Tuesday.

B. Yellow level 1 warning for disruptive rain leading to flooding of settlements, roads, damage to property is expected in places along the along the coast and adjacent interior on Tuesday over the Eastern Cape.

FIRE DANGER WARNINGS

Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over central and eastern parts of the Northern Cape, eastern parts of North West, Free State, Gauteng, and in places of the Western Bushveld of Limpopo.

ADVISORIES

A heat Wave with persistently high temperatures is expected over the central and eastern parts of both North-West province and Free State, northern parts of KwaZulu-Natal, Gauteng, Mpumalanga and Limpopo.
