 ‘Woof, woof, it’s been lovely’: Asavela Mngqithi hints divorce

Social media users believe Isibaya actress Asavela Mngqithi has announced her divorce from her husband of two years.

IS ASAVELA MNGQITHI SINGLE AGAIN?

The former Isibaya alumni, Asavela Mngqithi took to her Instagram on Sunday, 29 September to share photos of herself dressed in black in front of the KwaZulu-Natal High Court.

She captioned her post: “Woof, woof. It has been lovely enkosi” (thank you).

Mngqithi also shared a screenshot conversation which read: “Asime dali (let’s stop darling). Thanks, nge (for) experience”.

According to X user @Mlu__N7‘s August post, Vuyisa Mqokiyana cheated on Mngqithi and filed for divorce.

Her alleged divorce comes after she confirmed in a 2022 post that she was officially married.

“I officially became Mrs Mqokiyana. Emzini bathe ndingu kwande umdeni , uthando ne Mpilo,” she announced.

The actress also shared photos of her traditional wedding ceremony in the Eastern Cape.

WHO IS HER ALLEGED HUSBAND?

Celebrity blogger Musa Khawula revealed on X in 2023 that Asavela Mngqithi’s husband is businessman and philanthropist Vusiya Mqokiyana.

Khawula made the revelations after the actress kept her husband’s identity hidden.
