The African National Congress’s (ANC) secretary general, Fikile Mbalula appears to be shading the Kolisis who announced their divorce on social media on Tuesday, 22 October.
FIKILE MBALULA: ‘WHAT IF WE DISAGREE?’
Fikile Mbalula tweeted about couples ending their marriage on social media in a since deleted post on X.
He wrote on Thursday: “You announce your marriage separation on X, what if we disagree with your act? Because you are inviting us to your own private relationship. Of which we were not there in the first place. Only your families were involved.”
Is Mbalula referring to Siya and Rachel Kolisi who announced their divorce on social media on this past Tuesday?
THE KOLISIS SPLIT
Siya Kolisi and Rachel announced in a statement on Instagram that they have mutually decided to end their marriage.
“We wanted to share some important news with you. After much reflection and open conversations, we have mutually decided to end our marriage.”
“This decision comes from a place of love, respect and understanding that this is the best path forward for both of us. While our relationship as a couple is changing, we remain great friends and committed partners in raising our children with the same love and care they’ve always known.”
